Newstead 3 Seater Manual Recliner Sofa
The broad seated Newstead 3 seater manual recliner sofa is worked with a catch or a handle that is positioned on the outside of each arm. Simply release the action for the footplate to lift behind the legs and once elevated the back can be pushed back into a further reclined position. To close the recliner action sit forwards and sweep the footplate back into position using the back of the legs. Each side of the sofa works independently to the other.
The Newstead reclining 3 seater sofa has a distinctly contemporary design that features a high supportive back cushion that is perfect for resting heads against. The arm pads are wide and fully cushioned inside and the seat area has a rounded front cushion that supports from underneath and fits snuggly into the back of the knees. The foam in the seat area is a highly resilient one that comes back to shape well but is not too hard nor soft.
This recliner settee can be made with either castors or glide feet on the base depending on the kind of floor it will be sat upon.
