Newstead 2 Seater Single Motor Power Recliner Sofa
The Newstead single motor powered 2 seater recliner sofa is worked with buttons on switch plates which are positioned on the outside of each of the arms meaning that both sides of the sofa can be worked individually. Simply press the appropriate button for the footplate to lift behind the legs and once elevated the back will the recline. To close the recliner action press the opposite button and the back moves to upright and the footplate closed into position.
This Single Power Recliner Sofa can also have an adjustable headrest &
lumbar fitted on each side which can easily be controlled with the touch of a button. In which case the switch plate will look as below.
Both switch plates have a handy USB charging socket as well.
The Newstead recliner sofa has a distinctly contemporary design that features a high supportive back cushion that is perfect for resting heads against. The arm pads are wide and fully cushioned inside and the seat area has a rounded front cushion that supports from underneath and fits snuggly into the back of the knees. The foam in the seat area is a highly resilient one that comes back to shape well but is not too hard nor soft.
This recliner settee can be made with either castors or glide feet on the base depending on the kind of floor it will be sat upon.
The recliner is powered by cables which come out of the rear and plug into a normal household wall socket, but if required can be made with a rechargable battery fitted inside. This can be recharged periodically as required in the same way that a laptop or mobile phone is.
