This is a powered recliner is from the Ashfield collection of Celebrity furniture. Made for a smaller person due to the reduced seat depth & width which provide better support & comfort.
It can be upholstered in a wide choice of both leathers & fabrics. It features a generous high head cushion with lateral cushions below these on the left & right sides. These cushions help to keep the user in a central position when sitting. The back of the chair has neat wings which cleverly frame it and there are neat scroll arm with upholstered facings.
The power action is operated by buttons located on the outside of the arm. Once the button pressured the footplate comes up behind the legs to lift and support them, and then the back lowers as required. Once pressure is released from the button the recliner holds in the position. To return to sitting simply press the opposite button and the action smoothly closes up again. There is also a useful USB charging socket within the switch plate so that mobile phones and tablet computers can be changed while sitting in the recliner.
An additional option on this model is to have a power operated adjustable headrest and lumbar area which are controlled with additional buttons on the side of the recliner within the a slightly larger switch plate.
This recliner plugs into a normal household wall socket to power it, but if you would prefer it to work cordlessly then please select the "Rechargeable Battery Fitted Inside" option when ordering. This means that it will not need a cable running to a wall socket to work, and the battery inside can be recharged in the same way that a laptop, tablet or mobile phone is. All cables are supplied by Celebrity Furniture for this.
When upholstered in fabric the chair seat has Mammoth foam interiors which can aid with poor circulation, pressure relief, general ease of movement as well as some pain relief. When upholstered in leather the interiors are a resilient foam which comes back to shape well after being sat in.
This chair can be made with either castors or glide feet on the base depending on the kind of floor it will be sat upon.
